Slow startup of Google Chrome for Mac?
Greetings.
My friends and I (sample - three Macbooks c 10.6.5) slowly start Google Chrome.
Works - well, quickly, pleasantly. Runs sad and slow.
Subsequent launches (after the first launch of the browser) are faster.
But the first startup after rebooting the system is painfully slow.
Configuration: Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 (not beta, not developer's)
Effect observed on: Macbook 4.1, 2.4Ghz, 3Gb DDR2, 10.6.5
+ Macbook Pro 5.1, 2.2Ghz, 2Gb DDR3, 10.6.5 + Macbook 2.1, 2.0Ghz , 3Gb DDR2, 10.6.5 The
following experiments were carried out:
— clearing the cache;
- disable extensions;
- disable plugins, flash;
There is no tangible effect.
How to find the reasons for such behavior, is this situation normal, who is to blame and what to do?

Is the problem only with chrome? Is it observed right from the moment of its installation, or did it appear later?
Trite, delete/rename directories with its saved data/settings (~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/ and ~/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome/) to reset them - have you tried it?
