Yesterday I installed ssd crucial m500 480gb in my mbr 13 2012, installed the system from a flash drive and restored information from TM. Enabled TRIM via terminal.
After measuring the speed, it turned out that the recording was 200mb / s, and the reading was 480 mb / s.
The question arose of what could limit the speed, because the ssd can do more.

Now reading 480, writing 400 after a couple of days measured again.
I'm not sure, but I suspect that after restoring from a backup, the system encrypted the data and the ssd controller was busy. Although the monitor did not show activity for reading and writing. So quite factory speeds.
