Slick sider: CenterMode?

The page has a slider based on the Slick Slider. slide centering enabled. I need to make it so that there are two active slides, not one. Since these two central slides are different in color from the rest. Has anyone experienced this? Tried to implement by keeping track of the previous sibling of the active slide, but dynamically the color doesn't change as the slides scroll
