I press change password and it takes me to the Microsoft website, although I need to change the password of Skype itself.

But if I want to change my password on skype.com, they offer to enter the old one. The old password doesn't work.

Click on the site or in Skype "Forgot password" and enter the Skype site using the code from the e-mail, and there it will definitely ask for a new password, then enter it into Skype.
