Launched Skype, entered the password and ... that's it. Skype input hangs, white dots under the Skype logo are spinning. The firewall is not blocking it, I checked. Windows 7 system, Skype version 6.11.67.102. The old version just didn't work. An attempt to run the installer from the site resulted in the message "We could not establish a connection with the download server." At the same time, Skype starts from a tablet with Win 8 and authorization passes. I've been fighting for 3 hours now. Maybe someone has come across something similar?

Delete skype profile in %APPDATA%\Skype should help.

1. Close skype from tray.
2. Kill the process if it exists
3. Start Skype again.

check telnet access to IP? I have Skype with these access, the last 3 IP MS

See if port 80 is busy. Skype with Denver or XAMPP may struggle.
