Site-portfolio of layout designer and copyright

Hello Habrazhitel! I had one question regarding the site-portfolio of a layout designer (let's take a certain spherical layout designer in a vacuum, and his site, no less spherical) . Let's say it [the site] looks like this: on the main page there is a preview gallery (as in a regular image gallery) .

When you click on the preview, an html page opens in a new tab, which can be viewed in dynamics, in any browser, at any resolution, and, finally, view the markup code in order to form an opinion about the quality of the work of this layout designer.

What confuses me in this situation: all markup lies in the open(this is a web designer doing layouts, can post a simple image, and a screenshot of the layout, in my opinion, is somehow silly) . What if some, let's say, a bad person, just keeps the page for himself, changes the logo, removes the copyright from the basement, and puts the template on his site? How realistic is it in such a situation for a layout designer to prove his authorship?

The implemented layout is still applied somewhere. Otherwise, it's also stupid. For a "live" example, a link to it is enough. But if you really want to be able to view your work, I see no reason to limit yourself. The fact that the layout is open will not change the fact that the layout is already open on the site for which it was made. It is not much more difficult to save the page and correct it from the original site. And don't be petty. You have already received money for the work. And stealing from you obviously will not be hundreds.

I wonder who this site will be aimed at? You don’t think that people who don’t understand layout (otherwise why would they need a layout designer?) Will climb to look at your code with a smart look?
For teams that need a remote layout designer, it will be enough to show 3 spherical examples of your layout in a vacuum. And even easier - make up a test case from Lebedev's website, which he offers to candidates for the position.

Why bother proving something? A good layout designer is always ahead, and a thief is always in the position of catching up. Well, HTML copyrights are somehow strange.

Yes, post a screenshot of the entire page, post only one block below (for example, header) and even lower the code of this block in html (+ css) with formatting and so on. Seeing this, you can generally draw a conclusion about the quality of the work as a whole.
