Site layout for Chinese browsers. Any features?
Hello! The task was to make a website for the Chinese in the .cn domain zone. Everything would be fine, but as it turned out, they have a lot of peculiarities of using the Internet, as well as an incomprehensible hardcore perception of design (at least it seems to me so).
Now the following questions have arisen:
1) How old are the browsers they use? I heard they love IE, they have their own browsers IE+Chrome. How old is the technology?
2) Does it make sense to use Bootstrap? I climbed the Chinese Internet, I did not see a single adaptive site in 5 minutes of surfing.
Who worked on Chinese sites, please share your experience.)

1. They have the same browsers as we do gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-share/all/china
2. bootstrap - does not apply to sites in Chinese at all. This only concerns you, because. bootstrap is just a collection of code snippets. They have adaptive sites, because. there are cell phones (you won't believe it!). I did my own customization for them.
In terms of design, yes. They love old school. More contrast and bright colors - this is the standard for Asia. Remember the festival of colors among the Indians - just imagine it and draw.
Regarding the features of the layout, it should be borne in mind that their hieroglyphs are much more detailed than Latin / Cyrillic characters. Therefore, I would recommend using larger fonts than when laying out sites "for Europe".
The Chinese also love wow-effects, but are more pragmatic in terms of their application. still focus on cross-browser compatibility, and not on top gadgets.
