Sip call using xamarin.forms?

I'm trying to develop an application using Xamarin.Froms and want to enable SIP/Voip calls (audio and video) with an Asterisk server. I was wondering if anyone has any good experience with the Xamarin SDK and what that SDK might be.

To work with SIP, there is a certain SipSorcery
And to work with the Asterisk API, you will have to write something of your own (and this is a terrible pain)
