Simultaneously streaming video over the network from a file?
There is a task: To organize an office in a school class, where a movie from a file will be played synchronously on all client computers.
Given:
1) a server on Windows 7.
2) clients on windows 7.
Moreover, the process of opening new files for broadcasting should be simple (so that the teacher can understand).
I must say right away that I tried VLC - the sound is not synchronized (the delta reaches 10 seconds), i.e. in the class there is a goof when using several client computers, if possible, reduce the delta to < 1 sec.
Community, please help with advice.

I propose to look at the NetOp School
product
Not only is it designed for classroom management, training, but for educational proactive it costs almost nothing.
PS And yes, it can play audio-video files on clients synchronously (client-northern application)
If there are no problems with video synchronization via VNC, then you can not transmit sound at all, but output it through the speakers from the server. For the class, this will be enough.
I advise you to abandon this idea. Practically unrealizable. More precisely, it is feasible, but far beyond the school (zero?) budget.
