Simple registration/login for React?

Hello. Tell me, what kind of registration / authorization is better to use for React (the simpler the better)?
I have a simple app, a study project. As a backend I use the simplest server on pure php + OpenServer. Before that, there was an experience of writing a site without using frameworks + php backing. I used sessions for authorization - everything worked.
Google gives a lot of different solutions, but I would like something as simple as sessions to start with, since those options are still complicated for me.
