Should the HP NC362i be used under heavy load?
It follows from the datasheet that the DL160 G6 \ DL165 G7 has a built-in two-port network card HP NC362i on Intel 82576. I have an HP Proliant SE316M1 (aka DL160 G6, but only SE). Delivered Intel E1G42ET. I want to combine the ports of both the built-in network card and the Intel E1G42ET into link aggregation and use it as a soft router. The load will be big (for me)): ~2Gbps at 300Kpps. Is it worth using the built-in network card or is it better to buy another intel E1G42ET? I would put something on the Intel 82599, but there is nowhere to stick it yet (I will do that in the bright future)).
