Should I write in Delphi 10 or is it better to learn C#?
Good day.
I am writing a service using the Yii2 framework. I want to create an offline application that will connect to the RESTFul API and process data from tables, but only in the information exchange mode, and not constantly.
Delphi studied for a long time and that knowledge is at the beginner level. Now I'm leaning towards C#, but I don't know anything at all.
Delphi 10 Seattle has already been installed and in fact everything is clear in syntax, but C # is more similar to Java.
The question is this: Will Delphi 10 suit me for my program, or is it better to learn C sharp from scratch in the future?
I just want to make it easier to add and edit blog posts, shop items, etc.

Did you mean "client"?

Better C#.
Delphi is outdated, both in syntax and library architecture, and it is not seriously updated, only new features are stuck on the side.

Better than C# (and generally C-like).
No difference. Write on what is more convenient, and on what is more pleasant.
I like to write more in Delphi. First, XE (Seattle) has a new Fire Monkey library. Secondly, the VCL also continues to be updated. (I don't mention the other bells and whistles).
If you need under .Net, then it used to be Delphi 8, and now it's Delphi Prism .
