Should I use the Expires and Cache-Control HTTP headers at the same time? As I understand it, if there is a cache-control (public, max-age = 2592000), then expires (in a month) is not required - is it? Or is it still worth it?

in general, it is recommended to use expires for statics, and cache control if you need some particularly tricky cache stuff
