Should I use Flex if cross-browser compatibility and speed of development are important?

In caniuse, you can see that Flex is not yet very well supported by browsers - there are some nuances in IE and Safari. Keeping them in mind is not easy.
If development speed is important, then Flex does not speed it up, but slows it down, because. each page of the layout will need to be checked on each screen in each browser. Yes, and add text to some elements (name in the product card, for example) - to check if nothing will go. All this is very long!
And if the customer asks to make some changes? They also need to be checked.
Is it worth using Flex if cross-browser compatibility (Internet Explorer 10+, Safari 10+) and development speed are important? Do all those who use Flex'y know the nuances of Flex'ov in different browsers and typeset very carefully? Or do they check the layout? Something is not believed.

Flex is already everywhere supported. Yes, it is very worth using. To be honest, even grid can and should be used.
