Should I use Apache2 + PHP-FPM at all and why do it?

Hello! In the ISPManager panel, I came across a scheme for using Apache + PHP-FPM. When can such a scheme be justified? Those. usually use either Apache2 + mod_php + Nginx(reverse proxy) or Nginx + PHP-FPM. Or I'm wrong?
