Should I upgrade to Windows 10?

Hardware is not modern:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
4GD DDR-II
1Gb GeForce 9600GT
computer will be used for sound recording in Reaper 5.
Windows 7 32bit is installed there now.
Rumor has it that Windows 8.1 is faster than 7. and Windows 10 is faster than 8.1.
Is it worth it for me on my hardware to rock the boat on the "ten" or put the 64-bit "seven" and not bathe?

Don't worry - set the eight. Ten is raw, spies on users and is not recommended for older PCs.

I think with 4GB of RAM it's not worth it

No, it's not worth it.
The iron is old, there is not enough memory, and even with firewood problems, the probability is not zero.

so remove from the current image and try 10ku. if you don't like it, flip the image back

If Windows faces or correctly laman - you can upgrade to 10 look, spit dampness, and successfully return to Windows 7 through recovery. Subjectively, an update to 10k works 20% worse than a clean installation. in terms of performance - it normally works quite well on a tablet with 1 gig of memory where it was preinstalled and much better on a laptop with 8 RAM. My opinion - 8.1 is still stronger. I hope 10ku will be finished to sanity soon. in the meantime - strange explorer crashes, sudden dullness out of the blue, power problems (all kinds of hibernation, etc.)
