Should I take Xiaomi notebook pro 15.6 2017?

Hello! I own a macbook air 13.3 2016 for a little over a year. In principle, I am satisfied, with the exception of the periodically falling off Wi-Fi. Recently, I noticed that 13.3 was not very comfortable to code and thought about buying a 15.6 inch model. It's a pity to throw out $2.5k bucks for an apple plug, because air copes well with all my tasks. And then I came across a product from the Chinese. Iron seems to be stuffed well, the design is not bad, and in principle it seems like a worthy product for $ 1k.
Questions:
1. Can I put OSX on it?) Will everything be fine?
2. Did someone have experience in operating this miracle? Or maybe friends/friends. What do you say about it?

1. You will have a problem with the wifi chip (and most likely with the video card). But you can always install Linux (eOS for example).
2. A friend bought it, so far everything is fine, there are small 'staggers' of the keyboard, but this is not critical.
PS. I myself sit on Mi Air'e, also a great car.

Hello,
What is the discomfort in work? Is the screen too small? If so, it's better to buy an external monitor, imho. I have a Macair 11 "2013, I took an external monitor to it, a keyboard and a mouse - it's very convenient when I'm sitting at the table.
Xiaomi Mi - I felt it, so to speak, it's not convenient for me to lie on the couch with it, 2 kg is too much, a bit thick, but the most the main keyboard is kind of flimsy, too soft, after the Makov keyboard it’s unusual. The touchpad is huge :-), maybe it’s convenient for someone, I don’t, I practically don’t work on the touchpad or mouse. Well, the display is not very good, the brightness is not enough. And I wouldn't say I'm spoiled for poppies...
