Should I take a TV to work?

Own question in the title. The idea of buying a new monitor crept in (now I use an HP 22xi regular monitor 21.5 inches) my vidyuha will not stand in games) with LED, and hang it all on a VESA mount without a stand. I want to use it for coding (frontend), I like to watch movies, play toys.
Question: is it reasonable to do all this? Who uses it, how comfortable is it, do your eyes get tired?

Matrix TVs are worse, as they are not intended for close use. Took, put back the monitor. I think to try the monitor 27 with 1920x1080, which is also not enough for 27.

They say that the best thing for development is large full-wall panels. Can be assembled from multiple monitors. And the diagonals are less than 96 "- that's right, children's toys ... aim higher!

FullHD - too small resolution for 40 inches. Tried to do it all on 42 plasma. Uncomfortable. Piskley is visible.

I'm sitting on a Benq GW2450HM VA matrix, it's quite comfortable, the corners are chic, the brightness margin is up to "burn out my eye", which is convenient if the windows are on the sunny side. To be honest, even at 24 inches full hd is not enough, and taking large diagonals with the same resolution is insanity, only if you are not going to sit 3 meters from the mona, at 1.5m from 24 "I can already see the pixels.
I looked at the monas, 4k" inexpensive" - TN, i.e. throwing away 30k for a TN matrix - crazy. Either limit yourself to the size of the diagonal, or look for money

I tried to connect the TV as a monitor, the fonts are floating, nah, forgive the deception with a real refresh rate not 60 hertz, a big input lag, the mouse noticeably slows down (some TVs have a PC function, of course, and this one too, but the DVI connector is already occupied and works only through him)
In general, if all TV sets are like that, then you should not even try.

I myself used the TV for some time to work, in the end I bought 2 23.6 monitors (one IPS, the second TN for change).
So, on the second monitor with a cheap matrix, the colors were much better than on the TV. Well, in general, you buy, and then see for yourself. In the store, connect the TV to your laptop and look closely at the fonts.

I don't know, the fonts don't look the same on TVs. Not so in general for coding.

on the TV is inconvenient, it is better to connect several monitors. Or just buy a quality monitor 22 or 24 inches
