Should I switch to flex?

I am a beginner layout designer.
I made a couple of projects on bootstrap 3.
So I think it's worth switching to flex already?
Do all modern browsers support them?
And what is the best way to use a grid, bootstrap 4 or is it convenient to typeset on flex and without framework grids?

Certainly!
And learn right away from the grid, it’s not difficult at all, the main thing is to understand the meaning.
After understanding, you will wonder why this bootstrap at all (I was convinced by my example), I am already silent about what you wrote on the 3rd version.
Run to learn flexbox and grid.
Also read about valid code, so that you yourself understand why this question is dumb.

Flex is already mature, it is supported normally . Learn to type without grids (UPD: not grids, frameworks). As you develop, you will already understand what tools you need.
