Should I learn cms OpenCart in 2018?

The official website of OpenCart has the date of the last cms update - July 2017. This update was over a year ago. The question arises, is opencart dead? The question is logical, because if there is no cms update, then cms itself starts to fade. Should I start learning it for online stores???
