An abstract question: what is better to choose for an online store: Opencart or Wordpress + Woocommerce 2019?
I read many articles, I worked with both the first and the second. But all the same, the opinions of the guru are still interested in what to choose. The store itself has 300-400 items.
Questions:
1) what problems did you encounter during development
2) what is better for SEO, all the same, this is problematic in Opencart.
3) maybe some of its nuances.
PS I understand that the question is quite general, but I think a lot of people have thought about such a dilemma. Experienced web developer.

OpenCart is a narrower solution.
From WP, you can expand to any volumes and solutions in a short and easy time. WP also has cheaper support.
Definitely Woocommerce.
1. Tons of plugins.
2. Ease of installing plugins.
3. Wordpress + Woocommerce can give a store, a blog, news, you can add a forum, create some new section, such as Services, FAQ, etc. All this in one ecosystem. In Opencart, this is much more difficult and inconvenient to do.
judging by the answers, people who have never dealt with opencart answer here. narrowly limited specialists in VP)
smiled very much at this bold statement
it is interesting to look at the VP with a volume of goods of several tens of thousands))))
and if in the case, this is a rotten, leaky bucket with a crooked code written from self-made "pro-Khrammists" who have no mind for more, which they constantly patch up, but you can’t patch it up like that maybe it didn’t stand next to opencart. the one who tried opencart will never look in the direction of the VP again.
If there is a small number of goods, you should not "dunk" in open cards.) wordpress + Woocommerce will do it.
If on the eve - an increase in the volume of goods (rapid) + 1c + multilanguage, then of course you should think about an open card.
I started making an online store on Wordpress several times, misunderstandings begin at the stage of developing and implementing the interface, I take a breath and return to Opencart. So far so, but I do not lose hope that I will find the time and desire to make IM on WP.
