Should I disable the Intel Identity Protection Technology plugin?

I noticed that on all browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Yandex Browser) I have the Intel Identity Protection Technology plugin installed by default, which slows down the cold start of browsers for a couple of seconds. How does it register in the browser and is it safe to disable it?
