Should I deploy my asteriks if there is another SIP provider?

The question is simple as a corner.
There is a direct Moscow number - it works for free
now the reception goes to a cell phone (it has a sip client)
I want to buy a hardware handset and set up an account in it from the same provider, no frills are required - just receiving calls because of the constant connection to the sip provider, and the proxy is already for money, and the quality is honestly not very good)
So the question is - is it worth raising your sip server on a virtual machine or not? All the same, the quality of communication will not improve dramatically, maybe the end provider will be the same for nothing? Or is it still worth a try? Rooms (only 1 incoming, no other users planned)
