Should I change the registrar?

It's time to renew your domain. I looked at the amount - and was surprised - last year it was almost two times less! No, I understand, the crisis, the dollar exchange rate and all that ... But the price has increased from 550 rubles per domain to 890! Registrar nic.ru, aka RUTSENTR. Question - is it worth changing the registrar and if so, to which one? Of the additional services of the rucenter - only secondary DNS, no hosting, redirects, etc.

If the difference of 300 rubles per year is worth the extra effort to re-register the domain...
For example, my time is much more expensive. I would not.
Now, if you have 10 domains - you can still think ....
Look at their club program - there are discounts on it. I pay for what you pay 890, like 130. In the same nic.ru

If you have the time and desire, you can change. But before that, you should find another registrar with a lower price.
well, as mentioned above: look at the club program, or if the domain does not expire now, then you can wait and see if there will be some promotions (usually held by the summer or other holidays)

Starting August 1, transfers between registrars will become paperless - just like in .COM - give the new registrar a domain and password, and the domain will automatically transfer. But such a transfer will be paid (at the price of registration, apparently) and without automatic renewal.
Therefore, it makes sense to transfer many domains now in the old fashioned way (paper), and piece ones - already in August.
