Should I change my studies at the university and work for work and self-education?
Hello everyone I
started the first year of the university, I study computer science. It is very difficult to combine work and study, and you also need to somehow develop on the web. The university lasts three years and I thought that in these three years without the university, I could go from Junior/Middle to a confident Middle/Senior. Leave freelancing in the office, provide for yourself, be independent. I have never had any problems finding a job (I have been working for 2-3 years already) without a higher education, but all my relatives insist that I would graduate from the university, because this is a higher education and is generally very necessary. But the last word is mine.
Actually, I would like to hear your opinion. Perhaps I'm exaggerating, and study+remote+development is possible and I just need a couple of time management lessons.
I would be glad to hear your story if there is a similar one
Thank you
UPD: Just in case, I will indicate the experience: 2+ years of front-end, HTML, CSS, JS

Study-Work-Personal Life From this, you can choose only 2 components. Anyway, it's worth remembering! It is also worth remembering that at 30-35-40 years old it will be more difficult to get a tower, and it may suddenly be needed if you are lucky to get an offer for a thousand million kilodollars per second with a job and they won’t give you because, according to hr, you are not a specialist, but a poultry farmer budding, you will gnaw your elbows from resentment, but you need these hernia elbows!
I started my first year of university, I study computer scienceIn my opinion, it’s better to take up studies, algorithms, languages, matan, if it’s not okay, and so on. At least it's purely an overview. If necessary, delve into the subject area. To temporarily score at work. (Now there is a chance to score later, it may not be). As part of your studies, cut your projects. You have some kind of base and it will be easier for you. Rush at the conference of the Olympiad, foreign university projects (it's also cooperation with other universities). This will give an understanding of how and what works, broaden your horizons and give you experience. Perhaps after studying, you want to change your profile from frontend to backend or something else altogether. And it will be easier for you to do it. You should not miss the university, especially if your parents support you financially, then take revenge with the trinity. And provide for the children. And if you develop as an html + css + js developer, you will no doubt grow to mid or senior, but when you grow up, it will be difficult to change the profile and it’s not a fact that it will turn out. Yes, and when you change your profile, you will lose in salary, in years, and so on. Better not miss the chance, go to the university. There are more pluses. In the end, you will understand whether you are a front-end worker, or there is something more interesting and attractive for you. Yes, there will be teachers who do nothing, there will be indifference of classmates, there will be purchased exams and blockages of the rest in the exams, there will be inadequate and not modern requirements, but when you see this, you should not despair, go your own way, gain knowledge, make acquaintances, there will be a lot of good, new knowledge , crust (this was not appreciated before, but now the IT world has become more streamlined and bureaucratic and it is needed, plus this crust from Zazhopinsky University can open the way for you to Europe and America if you have knowledge). If there is no urgent need to cut the loot, the university will provide excellent opportunities, the main thing is that you can use them. But of course it's up to you!!!!!!!!!!!
Should I change my studies at the university and work for work and self-education?
it all depends on the university, everywhere the "base" is different. If the university is good, then it is worth graduating. if you understand that you are wiping your pants there, go to curtsy, work and self-educate.
about the crust, I advise you not to listen to people, in most cases, when applying for a job in the IT field, it does not play a role.
university is good for general development
for work, nowadays universities are unfortunately not good at all
on the other side of hockey and other books from the university can be read at your leisure
It's up to you to decide how you see the situation from the inside.
As you can see, they give different advice, you can leave, you can stay, but you must decide this chapter in your life yourself.
In my opinion, if you have some kind of average Penza University, then there is zero sense in graduating from it. If the university has a certain authority (let's exaggerate and say let it be Moscow State University), then it is desirable to finish and in parallel to be an intern or a junior to be in a good company.
I quit - I do not regret a single drop, but I do not regret the full 3 courses of study.
