Should I change Milestone to HD2?

I'm fed up with my milestone, I want to change it for something comparable in price.
I liked HD2, not so much in design as in features. They say that it has both VM, and VP7, and android (more recently, HC), and even meego with ubuntu.

Since everything except the VM is not native, a reasonable question arises: can this be used in the same way as on native devices?
Regarding android, I'm interested in the following:

  • Stability
  • Function health
  • Multitouch
  • Do toys that work on similar native devices work?
  • Smooth animations and scrolling

And I also wanted to know if the T-Mobile version differs from the euro only in an extra half a gig of RAM or something else?

I have HD2 TMOUS (RAM/ROM 576/1024). The first 2 months I sat on WM6.5 different assemblies - it was bad. After I installed Android 2.2, it became an order of magnitude more convenient and faster. Now it costs 2.3.3 Cyanogen mod without Sens. It works like clockwork, you can watch the video in my first topic " To change or not to change ". True, there is still 2.2 ... Now it's faster and the battery lives longer.

On T-Mobile, the inscription is additional. )
2.3 works without problems, like VP7, they also have twin brothers from which the port comes.
A little confusion with the buttons (not quite a logical purpose), but everything works like that.

I recently changed my HD2 to Galaxy S. Why:
1. Initially, it seemed solid and weighty, but the moment came when I realized that it was big and heavy. Talking is uncomfortable. I consider the Galaxy S and the like to be the optimal size.
2. Native VM 6.5 compared to Android 2.2 - like Windows 3.11 and Windows XP. The battery lasts pretty well (up to two days, I think installing Android will reduce this figure.
3. Third-party builds of VM 6.5 are terribly glitchy, one has one thing, the other has another.
If I were you, I would take a closer look at Desire HD with native android.

as the owner of HD2 (a year on WM6 and half a year on Android), I will say that it is definitely worth it. As a reader, browser, navigator, phone - excellent. I play a little myself, but the children praise me. I would take some of the following HTC devices, but now they do not have hardware buttons.

First you need to decide what you expect from the telephone, fully and clearly formulate your requirements and then look at what suits them. Otherwise, you may be very disappointed.
