Should I buy a MacBook Air/Pro for non-web programming?
At the moment I work more with the web, but in the near future I want to try myself in other directions. Question for programmers who work on Macs. What is a MacBook in non-web development? Should a programmer buy C++, Java or Python for example?

I took a poppy for iOS development, now more Android, but I won’t leave the poppy, the retina for a programmer is an excellent choice, which I don’t want to change, but there seems to be no analogues. OS X is very convenient, like Linux, only convenient.
The point here is not whether it is worth buying it not for web programming, but whether you need a mac to work at all. If you still don’t know why you need it, then most likely it makes no sense to buy it IMHO
Depends on the amount of money and on the desire to get 3D XPOINT instead of Nand flash. 3D XPOINT is 1000 times faster and more reliable than Nand Flash, i.e. than current SSDs.

The new Apple laptops have zero maintainability. Those. I bought it and that's it - it's impossible to replace anything and upgrade it myself. everything is scattered. Those. replacing an SSD with a 3D XPOINT won't work in the future, and laptops are quite expensive.
On Apple technology, you can program for iOS. In C ++ and Python, everything is fine too, I don’t know about Java.
If you work with compiled languages, it's definitely a bug. Eyre simply doesn't have the power to assemble the project.
Taking into account the fact that Windows has been installed on poppies quite easily for x years, why not.
You can take. Here the question is rather whether a Mac OS is needed. It's a matter of habit and masochism. I can only say that with some components there will be much more hemorrhoids than on Linux or Windows
A Mac is only needed if you are developing for osx or ios. Well, or you like to sit in cozy cafes with a selfie stick and a MacBook.
Otherwise, the poppy is a waste of money. Take normal hardware and a monitor, install Linux like Debian and you will be happy, and even save up to 50% of the cost of a similar poppy. Well, if you need a laptop, then some kind of lenovo think pad.
