Should I buy a GTX 1060 with an i5-4570?

Good day!
There is a computer based on i5-4570 + 8 (2x4) GB of memory + SSD Samsung EVO 850, without a discrete graphics card. For everyday work, the performance is completely satisfied.
But I decided to play a little here in the evenings after work... I wonder if it would be the best option if you buy a GTX 1060, a motherboard with 4 memory slots and 2 more 4 GB memory modules? Will such a bundle be enough to play at 2560x1080 resolution for a couple of years?
I understand that this is already the 7th generation of processors, but I really don’t want to change the entire platform, the toad is strangling spending + 30k per percent + mother + memory :)

Quite! Just take 6GB + OC right away.

You have a percentage of bottlenecking in this combination of processor and video card'a is equal to 11 (in the direction of processor weakness). After 10 it becomes really noticeable. I know not only from the calculator, but also from my own experience. On my old i5 3570 (+gtx 1060 6gb) in new games like Watch Dogs 2 or Tom Clancy's The Division, the processor was loaded by 90-100 percent regardless of the graphics settings, while the load of the video core practically did not rise above 80% even at maximum settings. I changed the processor to i7 3770K, its workload in the same games is 30-60% and fps increased by 15-20 frames. Still, the 3570 does not fully reveal this video card, as well as probably the entire i5 family. Your processor is certainly stronger than 3570, but still I think it is not enough to reveal the potential of this video card, especially in "processor-dependent" games, of which there are more and more now.
