Should I add the site to search engines?

Hello. I want to put my blog on the Internet. There are about 20 categories of articles on it, but there are only 14 materials. Is it worth putting the site up so early for indexing (adding it to search engines)? Or fill in each category for at least a few entries and then only post it?

And what prevents you from automatically hiding empty categories?
Why not? It is better to have statistics of systematic website updates than to throw out 120 articles in 1 day and then smoke bamboo for 3 months.
