Should a beginner front-end developer create a portfolio site, or will a GitHub profile be enough?

I've been learning frontend for about a year now. There are 7 portfolio projects: just landing page layout, SPA on Vue, game on JS and HTML5. All projects are described in the README. Portfolio I want to make a JAMstack site with a headless CMS. Because Since the portfolio site itself will also be included in my portfolio, I think that this would be a good project. On the other hand, I doubt why create a site to demonstrate the projects I have completed, if there is GitHub (I will include my contacts in my resume on hh ru, of course).

So, the questions are:
1) Is it worth creating a portfolio site for a novice front-end developer, or will a GitHub profile be enough?
2) Would a portfolio site be a good addition to a resume? (resumes are created according to a template, and on my own site I can express everything in a free manner).

If it is well and efficiently done, then of course the presence of such a site is a plus.
Qualitatively - in terms of the fact that the person who opened it in a couple of minutes will understand what kind of specialist you are in the first place and the site will not be repulsive / inconvenient in the second place.

In any case, a portfolio is a no-losing action, it definitely won’t be superfluous) I defended my diploma with the topic of a portfolio in 2012)
And I completed the test task for a vacancy in April 2020 and submitted it through the Google site) I like the work)))
but in any case, everything in your hands

why if you can on github . You already have enough knowledge for a paid trainee, send a resume with a github to all offices and ask them to hire you for 20k a month.

a beginner has a hell of a lot of free time, he can at least not get worse with cancer
