I need the help of smart people. I am at a loss in solving the problem, thanks in advance to everyone!
I started writing a service on ServiceStack , my MySQL DBMS is on linux.
The database is partially Russian, and accordingly the database has: charset = utf8, collation name = utf8_general_ci .
When I make a selection of some data, it doesn’t matter through a query or through a lambda divination, then I get the correct result,
but when I try to make some kind of query where there are Russian letters, for example, insert<>, then they get into the database as question marks, someone may I help??

you can try to set the encoding in the connection string. There were similar problems with cp1251, it helped.
