Gmail not an option? The contacts of those who wrote to you are stored there, + you can enter phone numbers, places of work, birthdays, addresses and a bunch of other things. Export is also available. Many mobile operating systems are supported. You can download here .

The data is accessed via WebDAV. Although I didn't use it.
