Server issue following mailgun recommendations?

There is a server on DIGITALOCEAN Ubuntu 14.04, the usual bunch of LAMP + NGINX + VESTACP
After executing these commands, everything collapsed.
sudo aptitude install libmagic-dev
sudo aptitude install php5-dev
sudo aptitude install libcurl3
sudo aptitude install php5-cli
sudo aptitude install php5-curl
At first, php source code was displayed instead of web pages. Changed php5, phpmyadmin, php-fpm, apache2, NGINX.
Now the php code is executing, but all wordpress and laravel sites give an error 500.
Where to dig? Where did I go wrong and how can I fix it? Help me please.

VestaCP installs all the software of the required versions out of the box, why did you put the packages in the console manually?
Apparently everything is broken.
Turn on the full error log and see what laravel doesn't like. Most likely folder owners and permissions
