Server access via SSH using NFC or Mifare 1K under Windows?
Good afternoon!
I came up with the idea to make contactless authorization on the SSH server (CentOS), so that without passwords, file keys, etc.
I was inspired to take this step by various films about "computer scientists", where you can often see authorization by card or key fob in some colorful system on multiple monitors. I plan to take an NFC or Mifare reader for Windows (home OS) and a couple of cards for experiments, but I haven’t figured out how to screw it all up yet.
In theory, a certain key (strong password) or the public part of the certificate is written inside the wireless tag, after applying the card to the reader, the server is logged in via Putty using the key or password from the tag.
How it is better to implement it? Share your experience, who has already done something similar?
