Seo book for developers?

A book that describes the methods and principles of promoting a site to the top lines of search engines. I began to read Ashmanov, but trembled, because there are some basic principles that are known to me.
I also read Sevostyanov, there is more information there, but still the same base.
In general, I need a book that tells about the process of website promotion from the point of view of a website developer. At the technical level.
Thanks

This is not really an answer, just thoughts on the topic.
It is unlikely that you will find something sensible, SEO is a very competitive niche in which there is a lot of magic, as well as dense idiocy.
Until now, there are unique ones that require that h1 in the markup should not have any attributes (including class) and stuff like that.
The best way to immediately get the information you need in one place is to find some SEO firm that seems professional to you and order a site audit from them, and then smoke the document that they will draw up.
Without this, all you can do is:

  1. Follow the semantics (use the correct tags in place instead of divatose , links there instead of buttons );
  2. Make graphic content as accessible as possible for search engines (image alts (possible through figure and figcaption), alternative description of SVG graphics)
  3. Make text content as accessible as possible for search engines (correct heading structure, use of microformats where appropriate).
  4. Monitor download speed (is one of the ranking factors and also improves behavioral factors)
  5. Monitor accessibility (so far, it doesn’t seem to be taken into account anywhere, but I believe that in the light of trends this will influence in the future. In addition, accessibility is not only about people with disabilities, it also improves UX in general, which contributes to improving behavioral factors).

The rest (manipulation of links with and without slashes, juggling with absolute and relative links, etc.) in one office will tell you to do this, in another they will tell you differently - and search engines will answer a direct request "we do not disclose the details of the search engine".

the fact of the matter is that everything in the database
, that is, all seo work is stupid and a monkey can do it, yes, it’s long, but tedious, but it’s stupid and it’s all basic, there are no cool tricks there except for black seo

The time it takes to write a book is out of proportion to changes in trends. Therefore, there is a high probability at the time of publication of the book of its incomplete relevance, not to mention the moment when it falls into your hands.
IMHO, the most effective way to know the subject is more news from various sources, as well as the analysis and systematization of data from open sources, it is especially interesting to watch the disputes of practitioners on the relevant forums such as Serch or Maula .
Well, constantly analyze news, for example, from category aggregators like Beards . But here you already have to turn on your head yourself in order to understand where the wind is blowing from and where.
