Sending email digests to subscribers, what “cheap and good services” can you suggest?

I want to make a monthly digest on one narrow topic. I'm trying to find the cheapest option for myself. I settled on MailChimp Forever Free for now :

Up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month

Is there something better?
