Semantic search for company information

I need to solve 2 tasks:
1. By the unofficial name of the company (eg "BMW", "BMW AG", "Bavarian Motor Works") find the official name - "Bayerische Motoren Werke AG".
2. By brand name (eg "Mercedes-Benz") find the official name of the company that owns this brand - "Daimler AG".
We need support from different manufacturers (mainly heavy engineering), not always known (i.e., it is not necessary to have a corresponding article on Wikipedia)
DuckDuckGo gives almost what you need, but only in a format understandable to a person:
“Bayerische Motoren Werke AG ( Bavarian Motor Works), commonly known as BMW, is a German automobile...",
it is difficult to isolate the official name of the company from this - the sequence of words changes. And I need the result in a format that can be programmatically processed.

Thanks in advance.

For the first task, maybe wolframalpha will help you, of course, it is unlikely that it will cover not very well-known manufacturers, but he knows the giants.

yes, this is the most likely candidate so far, but he is far from ideal :( for example, he does not know what a Ferrari is.

As a slightly more complicated option, you can download the Wikipedia dump and search in it: there are all the more or less well-known nonsense and a company is signed that is easy to parse. True, how to find all the brands and companies in it is a mystery ...

Compose with pens. There aren't many companies, are there?
