Security guards, how did you find your first job (specialty)?

Hello! Dear readers, tell a 3rd year student how did you get your first work experience in your specialty? Happy accidents are extremely rare, so if anyone shares their story or advice, I would be very grateful. There are certain skills in this area.
In the near future, it is expected to receive a certificate: SearchInform Specialist Level under the program "Practice of using DLP-systems". Thank you!

The easiest and most affordable option is to get a job in the tax office for a part-time job or practice, people are always needed there. Direction - administration of systems for receiving electronic reporting via the Internet, you won’t earn money, but there will be a lot of good and different experience.
The second option is to try to get a job with a system integrator of information security solutions. Recently, a lot of them have divorced and students are taken there with a bang. Again a good experience.

Start with normal practice. There you will understand what practical information security is, and there will be a chance to make some acquaintances. The ideal option is to write the following term papers and a diploma based on practically useful for a particular job. Try to automate/optimize/debug some of their routine process. Even if you don’t go to this particular place after graduation, some knowledge will be practical.
I had 4 trainees - one I, after (how many there are from practice to diploma, 1.5 years?), I was looking for to call for a job. The job search was no longer relevant for the guy.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
