Secure channel from work to home
Good time of the day!
I work in a state institution and, as far as I understand, there have already been incidents with catching employees on all sorts of VKontakte and classmates. Liyano, I do not sit on them, but I would like to use icq. Ordinary clients do not work, I tried both through a proxy and without and on different ports. I'm sitting on web icq ... so you can see all the correspondence ...
What software is needed to break through a secure channel home and sit through a home computer? I would like the browser and icq to work through this channel, for example, Chrome, but IE hacked through a regular proxy.

1. The simplest thing is to get a static IP and raise a proxy, but there will be no encryption.
2. You can throw a proxy at home, throw an ssh tunnel to it and go through it. It's safer, but it's probably not easy to set up under Windows.
3. The most correct thing is to raise openvpn and set up routing on the working computer so that everything except traffic to the local corporate network goes to the vpn tunnel. This is the most reliable and convenient way, but you will have to tinker with routing.
Put ICQ in the phone / communicator. If there is a lot of communication, take an option (package) for unlimited low-speed Internet for 200 rubles.
There are actually many options. I had several, I'll try to describe mine.
1. I bought an Asus 2G surf netbook. It has WinXP. As a proxy - CCProxy. In combination, there is also a torrento-rocking chair. I used FreeCap at work, because only he allowed to make a chain of proxies (we have access to the Internet through our proxy at work).
2. I bought a DIR-320, flashed it with Tomato firmware, set up SSH on it, launched Kitty at work and connected via SSH home to DIR. Kitty acted as a local proxy. Instructions for setting up all this were here on Habré, if necessary, I'll look for a link.
A lot more troubles are delivered by the lack of admin rights and the installed antivirus. It considers some proxy server programs to be viruses and removes them. And without admin rights, WideCap could not be installed.
Through DIR and Kitty, everything turned out to be much more stable, less buggy, but slower, I don’t really know what this is connected with.

A lot of left fuss.
You do not need a static ip or ssh, except for:
1. Registering with DynDNS and installing the client on your computer / setting DynDNS parameters in the router.
2. Create an inbound VPN connection in Windows.
3. (optional) Forwarding the VPN port on the router.
4. Create an outgoing VPN connection at work.
5. (optional) If one of the corporate resources stops working, then add a couple of routes to the system.
We can discuss in detail in private mail.
Download Tor browser , put it on a USB flash drive, work - profit. If it’s not very good to sit in ICQ through the browser, there is also a client that works with Tor - a pidgin or something ...
Gmail works over secure https. With it, you can sit in an ace. On the left there is a chat - a web interface to jabber, and through a full-fledged jabber client, you can connect transport to icq.
Maybe there is a better solution =)

Come home, register a gabber, add icq transport. Then go to Yandex-mail via https and communicate from their interface. They won't be able to read. Convenience is debatable, but still.
You can also use ICQ through the web, for example, on the off site
Browser - you can use web anonymizers, for example this one (do not take it for advertising, the first result in Google).
Of course, it’s not very convenient, but you can always mow down under the “fool”))
