Searching for a small Django app?

Hello everyone
A website is being prepared, where there will be about 3000-5000 pages of various products. You need to organize the search by titles + brands. It is not expected that the option will be very popular, so I would like a solution that does not require additional costs.
I paid attention to Haystack + Elasticsearch = but confuses the reviews that this bundle is very voracious and requires additional power, but rather a separate server for elastic.
Normal search through Django on the ORM is said to work poorly and take a long time.
Is there any data, a bunch of Haystack + Whoosh will work less voraciously than elestik?

I also do not have a very popular search on the site. I am using django-watson . copes quite well.
