Search for like-minded people. Doing things together

The idea is to create a platform where, on the one hand, those who invent things, on the other, those who produce them, and on the third, those who use them, would converge. A platform where a collective process of designing various things from our everyday life would take place (from simple interior items, furniture, dishes to various appliances and gadgets). So that everyone has the opportunity to influence and get involved in the development process of some thing that is interesting to him. If we draw an analogy with software development, then this is something similar to GitHub, a stock of open source hardware (OSHW) projects. But for all the similarities to software, an important difference from GitHub is the presence of manufacturers and end users and their close relationship with the product design process.

Our task is to create conditions when, having open documentation, the user will have several ways to reproduce the same thing - by different manufacturers, for a different amount, including the ability to make a thing on their own (DIY).
Conditions in which users will be involved in the process on an equal basis with developers and manufacturers, when even at the design stage it is possible to obtain a volumetric assessment of the audience, how much the prototype corresponds to. its needs and what features should be added or removed from it.
When the user can directly contact the project team with a request to add the desired option or make changes to the documentation on their own and immediately “put it into production” and soon receive the copy they need.
Try to implement a crowdfunding scheme that will allow users to collectively accumulate funds for the launch of small and large series of products through the manufacturers of their choice.

I am looking for like-minded people who have already thought about something similar and will be able to penetrate the idea so deeply that we have enough fuse and, after about a year, the successful launch of the pilot version became the result of our activities.

PS: If someone knows a better place to find like-minded people, I will be grateful for advice.

It seems to me that this was written by a person who is not very familiar with development and production. So the whole trouble is that making what you need and the way you need is a sooooo big problem. Huge problem. Everywhere and always the same thing - missed deadlines, some completely ridiculous jambs and quality, very far from what was expected. And these problems don't stick anywhere. Today, someone has something good, but tomorrow, but it messes up to the fullest. In general, we do not have a culture of production and, apparently, will not be for a long time. That's all.

In any project/product/idea, there must be a person who is responsible and makes decisions. Otherwise, the bazaar, confusion and vacillation.

It is useless to try to do this on crowdfunding in my opinion. Really good, massive development almost always comes through funding. You won't attract as many manufacturers and investors, and if you do something like a Kickstarter, that's not the same either.
At one time I had the idea that such things could be done not through financing and crowdfunding, but through a clearer model of consumer loans. e-Shares, e-Bonds. The simplest listing and provision for prototypes, patents, developments, etc. Get in touch if you're interested.

I agree, without a leader in the group you will not come anywhere.

It's not very clear what is required. There are a lot of ideas, there are hands and brains, but how the implementation will be is not clear.

Hey! Please write to [email protected]
Or somehow here, but so that I get a notification about the answer (here recently, so any notifications are not configured). There was a similar idea:
If you write to the mail, I will send a link (I don’t feel sorry for the idea myself, I just don’t want to bother with Google Docs settings like “read-only, etc.”). It is unlikely that there is something useful there, but maybe , anything like it.
