Seamless roaming Unifi Ubiquti how to set up?

There are a couple of Unifi AC MESH points (I have not encountered such points before), the controller of the latest version 5.10.25. I know that you can organize seamless roaming on Unifi equipment. I configured the points in the same way, but how do I know if seamless roaming works between them? I did not find any settings related to roaming in the controller. Or does Unifi equipment work by default in such a way that in addition to the same name and password, there is nothing to configure?
And another question, will seamless roaming work with the controller turned off? or the controller in this case must always be in the same Lan network as the points?

If the network is one for 2 APs, then roaming works. It is better to configure everything through the dashboard.
