SDR receiver + signal from FPV?

Is it possible to receive a picture from an fpv transmitter using an sdr receiver and decode it on a laptop?
Is there a special program for this business?
I want the most budgetary fpv for my homemade aircraft, the receivers are expensive.

If by SDR you mean "Chinese DVB whistle for five bucks" (which follows from the condition "cheaper than a special receiver"), then no, you can't, performance will not be enough.
An SDR that can provide what you're looking for will cost as much as an FPV receiver.
