Schildt. Which Java guide should a beginner choose?

Hello!
I want to get into programming. My level is near zero. I write a little in Assembler for MK AVR, sluggishly pick Arduinka, parse scripts for one CAD program in Pascal-like language. Those. I know what an algorithm, function, procedure is.
But this is your OOP for me - the forest and the partisans :)
I want to learn how to slightly bug the computer. Chose Java. Those. the task is as follows: "To master OOP using Java as an example." I look at what literature is recommended, mostly they talk about Schildt. I look at what is in the store:
Java: Java Beginner's Guide
. Complete guide
Question: should I take "for beginners" or is it a subset of "complete"? Based on my statement of the problem and the assumption that my intentions are serious.
And one more thing: books against courses. In general, it is more convenient for me to learn from books and videos. But now from every iron one hears advertisements for m ... courses, the name of which is not allowed by moderation (remote courses in programming). I watched their "marathon" - more like bullshit. But I looked at the Java training program - it looks very sensible (I will give the link if necessary).
4 months, 30 tyr. On the one hand, the money is small, on the other hand, I don’t have an extra 30 :) And I have just 4 months :)
If anyone has come across these guys, tell me: bullshit or not?
