Good afternoon. What scheme of using servers to take for a movie site in the case when it has its own database of films? There was no need to wait for the user's video to load quickly. There is an opinion that:
A separate server is taken for the site itself and for distributing videos. Another one or two separate servers - for storing video in different resolutions 360, 480, 720. Two storage servers are taken for the sake of even load distribution, for example, when copies of the same movie in different resolutions are distributed to different servers.
I understand that there can be several ways to organize storage, processing and distribution, you only need to find the optimal one empirically, but for clarity, I need to know, first of all, the basic methods so that I can start with.
I also want to hear points of view towards cloud servers.
