Scheduled mail check

Hello.
The phone (Android ICS) has a regular mail client installed, which I linked to my work account. I receive mail quite often during the day, but at this time I usually sit at my computer and can react, so I don’t need constant checking of mail by a mobile client at all, the squeaker is sick of it :). I would like to make my phone only check email during certain hours when I'm not at work, for example. Is there any way to do this trick?

Try something like Llama
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kebab.Llama&hl=ru
It really cuts off sync completely, but it already exists and works :)

It's strange, I have schedules in my standard email client: you can specify working days and working hours and different behavior for working and for the rest of the time ...

Just don't look there. I have Android 2.3.6. You need to configure it not through the built-in client itself, but through “Settings - Accounts and synchronization - [Work mail account] - Account settings - Synchronization schedule". There, including, you can cut off synchronization in roaming
