Schedule // Solutions based on opensource CMS

Colleagues, Good day.

I came up with the idea of working schedule options based on some extensions for different CMS (what - in principle, it doesn’t matter)

I would like to ask what anyone uses, do they use? Or are Excel tables our everything?

You can write everything from scratch, but I would like to study semi-ready-made solutions first.

A few nuances:

- There are N-number of people for whom the schedule is drawn up.
— Must be easy to edit and visually simple.
- It would be nice to teach him how to count (for example, hours)

* well, and all sorts of optional goodies like displaying the next days relative to the current date.

The Google calendar is a powerful thing, however, I could not figure out how to “prepare” it for something like this.

I would be glad if you share your experience!

There are solutions based on ExtJs, which are very convenient and very similar to Google calendars, only more flexible, because it's just a visualization. But I won’t say anything about the one assembled in the CMS. We solved a similar problem as part of a large project, but there we wrote the code completely ourselves.

I will subscribe. I thought about this myself, because offices keep records in Excel.

I will also subscribe. In a month it will be necessary to write similar functionality for a server within a domain.
