Scala: where to start?
I want to twist the brain with functionality.
I am a Java adept and therefore the Scala language was chosen, because. it works on the same Wirth machine, and in general, as they say, Scala, if written object-wise, looks like Java without semicolons.
So, I would like advice on a book (I understand that it is unlikely in Russian), which would give the main ideas of the FP in the context of the Rock, plus it would be devoted not only to theory, but also to the practical application of all kinds of monads and other things.
Ideally, something else on web development using the same language.
So that the textbook is modern (not 2008-10).

The book "Programming in Scala" by Odreska is very useful and practical, in my opinion. Some of the nuances are casually considered, but together with the free course on the Courser it goes well.
