Saving temporary files?

I got a problem. One sound recording program saves the file to no one knows where. I went through all the folders with temporary files, but I could not find the file. Moreover, the program can play the file, but not open it. If anything, the uvSoundRecorder program. Thank you for your attention.

uvScreenCamera has an option where to save files. Perhaps uvSoundRecorder also has it, you can look at the current value there. If not, you can search all disks with indexers like Everything , or catch file accesses with Process Monitor .

FileMon by Sysinternals (currently taken over by Microsoft) will help you a lot . There are also similar utilities for the registry (scans who writes / reads what and where), networks and much more.
