SASS. Long compilation. Why?

I use the SASS compiler through Sublime Text 3. I
installed it at home and on my work PC like this:
1. Installed ruby
​​2. Installed SASS through the console
3. Installed extensions on Sublime Text 3
At work, code of 300 lines compiles in 0.6 seconds. On a home PC, it can go up to 16 seconds.
Iron on a home computer is better than on a work one.
What could be the problem?
We need a solution for sublime. Installing an IDE or using builders is not an option

Remove ruby
